I am seriously very pissed at the fact that my stationeries are going missing. In this year alone, I lost 5 rulers, 1 pencil, 1 eraser, 2 pens. I am very sure that I didn't lose them myself.

You know, I hate to say this, but I'm seriously suspecting that there are people who have been stealing things like pens. Its really very annoying when your pens are going missing and you have to go buy new ones when you have just bought a few weeks ago. This not only happened to me, but some other classmates too, who found out that their stationeries are going missing.

I will not allow my pencilbox to be placed on the table during recess ever again.

Pen stealer, watch out!

Okay, it has been a long time since I blogged, so I shall talk about my chess tournament!

When we arrive at Singapore Poly, we were like, the only girls in the tournament, I'm serious! I took a look at the list and to my horror, its all the JCs and Polys, but also some other schools like ACSI and Hwa Chong. However, I don't know any of their players, which means, they didn't send out their best players for this competition.

Chermaine came to support me! Hahaha. I was afraid that she would be bored, so I brought my rubik's cube along for her to play with. When she came, I had already finished one game, which I lost. Walao you know so unfair, all my opponents are very strong players and every of my games involve pawn promotion, which is like, the very very very end of the game. Normally, I'll either lose or win at the middle game, not so late. Then, Mingxuan and Jeeyen, my teammates, will finish their game early and watch my games. Damn stressful la!

I taught Chermaine how to play chess and how the play the rubik's cube, so that she can at least understand what's happening around her. I think she was playing the rubik's cube with Ms Chua, hahaha. She commented that all our games were too cheem for her. She left at around 5+, before I could finish my game with this JJC guy. I WIN HIM OKAY. He resigned when I made a move that left him with no chance of survival. It was quite a difficult end-game for me though. Actually, he's quite a nice guy la. He'll pop around and ask how my game goes and will chat with me, hahaha. I guess the best part of competitions is being able to make new friends.

On Sunday, the match was even tougher. You know, one game made me couldn't sleep at night. The Catholic High guy made a mistake, I could have checkmated him, yet, I didn't see it, and I lost instead. Everyone around us who were watching our game felt that its a pity I lost. Why didn't I see his mistake?! When I didn't see his mistake, he really HEAVE A SIGH OF RELIEF, like, damn loudly. He look like he had an asthma attack la! Scare me, then the whole hall was like looking at him. Damn weird. I made a promise to myself, to win him in the upcoming National Schools Team Tournament. Even if I won't get to play with him, I'll challenge him. This time, when I win him, I'll make sure its MY turn to HEAVE A SIGH OF RELIEF. I promise.

Spent my weekends just like that, I didn't even had a chance to do my homework. I had to iron my clothes till 10+. So tiring. Although it drained me out, I've learnt alot from the tournament, so yeah, I still want to go for tournaments! Anyone wants to come support me next time? Hahahaha.

Today's Youth Day performance was quite funny, although it was pretty unprepared. I know we couldn't blame the teachers, since they had alot of things to do including the e-Learning week that is coming very very soon.

The performance put up by the Humanities Department was super hilarious. The moment Mr Siow came out, I laughed till I had tears in my eyes, I'm serious! I don't know why too. This is like the most well-prepared one cos they had funny costumes and funny dance moves.

Then there is the English Department doing the skit about how messages passed from the upper management can turn into another story when the message finally reaches the workers. Ms Ng looks hilarious.

The Mother Tongue Department sang a number of chinese pop songs, there is only one song which is quite old and out which I don't know how to sing.

The Mathematics Department doing old retro dance with male teachers wearing bowtie and suspenders. Imagine your teachers wearing suspenders! Mrs Tan was wearing this thick yellow hairband and she looked so cute! They did some funny dance moves, then came the Science Department.

I thought Ms Azilah and Mrs Yip would do something funny, but in the end Mrs Yip came out for around 15 seconds while Ms Azilah acted as a teacher giving her students huge Chupa Chups. They did this skit about how the teachers would help and support the students (us) when O levels are coming, so in the end the student in the skit got 6 points for L1R5, hahaha!

We received alot of chocolates and sweets from our dear teachers. Tonight, Huiyan is going to get a toothache, hahaha!

Good luck Chermaine and Ximian for your Oral on Tuesday!
