I am currently a new fan of Phil Hansen's art works. All I can say is that his art works are JUST.SO.GODLY. If you want to know more about him, search Goodbye Art in youtube. Anyway, he is just someone who uses small objects to create a huge picture, normally political issues. He reminds me of the Art Attack man Neil Buchanan who does that too. Phil Hansen made a large portrait of George Bush, using Pointallism (Using small dots to create a big picture), and he wrote names of all the soldiers that died during the Iraq War due to that decision he made. Also, he sketched the picture of 48 women on different shades, photocopy them, and cut them out. He then pasted them onto this huge board to reveal the big picture - the picture of the muderer who killed all the 48 women. So cool right!
Anyway, one of his best works was making a huge picture of a Buddhist monk burning himself in protest, using 1800+ oreos to create the picture on the floor. Like seriously, I saw the real picture of the Buddhist monk, and it was really a picture that says a thousand words. It left a huge impact on me on how human's determination can overcome fear. IMAGINE SETTING YOURSELF ON FIRE AND SITTING DOWN THERE NOT MOVING, TILL YOU DIE. For us ar, you play with the candles during Lantern Festival and a drop of the hot candle wax falls on your hand can send you screaming through the whole street. That is also the main reason why Huiyan doesn't play with fire. Her life is too important, wahaha. It was said that the Buddhist monk was protesting something, and he sat in the middle of the road and he set fire on himself, without even yelping in pain or moving an inch. That must have been such a torture. Some people said that the photo was from this American band called Rage Of The Machines or something, and so I went to check it out on Wikipedia.
I shouldn't have trusted Wikipedia so much, our clique was so right about how sick Wikipedia is. And so, while browsing through the page about this band, I came across this super gross picture of them, NAKED. Like seriously, Wikipedia should not be meant for kids. AND THEY ARE REALLY NAKED, TOP TO TOE.
Walao till now I'm still very grossed out that I ACTUALLY SAW THAT PICTURE. I can bet that I'll have some weird things growing on my eyes the next day. WIKIPEDIA YOU KNOW WHATS CENSORING??

Seriously, I haven't laughed so hard for a long time, ever since I left 2S1. Thanks Chermaine and Ximian for giving me such a fun time in the train, laughing my hearts out.
Also, congragulations to Singapore for winning the Youth Olympics.
And finally, to Edison Chen. So you finally got the guts to confess huh. Be a man!

Haven't blogged for a long time. Hectic week for me, with Chemistry Test on Wednesday, Biology and A Math Test on Thursday, and Pure Geography Test on Friday. All tests are considered manageble, except for A Maths, of course. It is very annoying that no matter hard you listened in class, wrote down all the notes, how neat your homework and how punctual you hand up your homework, you still cannot even pass it in the end. Haiz, what can I do! Like seriously, I have never paid so much attention during Maths lessons before, considering the fact that I have been hating Maths for the past 4 years. Forget it. I told my mom about this and she consoled me, saying that since I tried hard, she don't see why she cannot accept it when I fail my test. So nice of her.
Anyway, I had my first bowling lesson today! It was quite fun actually, but the coach asked me to use number 10 bowling balls, which is super heavy. I know you might say "Its not heavy!". And of course its not heavy to me. But we were not supposed to carry the ball, we were supposed to SWING the ball effortless. And of couse, we had to be in the ending position, which is one leg bent behind your front leg. And so it becomes a very difficult job. Today was quite productive though :)
However, my allergy is coming back :O On Thursday it looked only like a mosquito bite, and I thought nothing of it. Last night, it was really itchy and to my horror, it swelled up and looks like a gigantic mosquito bite the size of your palm+fingers. I'm not kidding about the size. I was so shocked I showed my mother and she gasped. Eee looks very disgusting. Today, it got worse. Although it became smaller, about the size of 4/5 of your palm, it turned purple. I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow. Luckily it didn't grow on my face. Lets hope its not like cancer or whatsoever. I need to renew my medicine anyway, its running low and its pretty useful in case of allergies. Gahh.
Anyway, Ariel just told me something so cool. She was flagging for a cab in the rain with Mingxuan and DAZHIDE, and there was this guy who honked them. He offered them his umbrella! They rejected, but when he smile, Ariel realised that he was PIERRE PNG! Omg soo cool. I think Pierre Png is quite hot, haha. Anyway, it was really sweet of him to do that.
If you don't know who's Pierre Png, thats him.
Okay, I'll walk in the rain more often. Get myself drenched and look helpless and who knows, Xiezhi might come by and offer me his umbrella. HEEHAW.
Opps, can't dream too much. Anyway I didnt see them in the Sheng Siong show today! Nevermind, ending here!
