"Being second is to be the first of the ones who lose." - Ayrton Senna

Happened to chance upon this quotable quote on the net, and I found it quite meaningful. Really stressed now and needs to blog, haha. Hand-copied Geography notes for the whole day. Going to finish covering everything, and I found Geography quite interesting. Heheh. Its just common sense I guess. Or due to my high level of intelligence.

By the way, I think the Brazilian man who said that quote, Ayrton Senna, deserves my respect for him. Well, he is a four-times world champion in Formula One, and passed away in 1994 due to a fatal accident. I went to search about him, and found the video of that fatal accident. He was actually leading, but flew out of the track at a speed of 300km/h, knocking into the concrete wall. It was said that a metal part from his car stabbed him through the helmet and his skull. He died instantly. What a sad thing, as in, you were leading and in just a second, you're hero to zero. Whats worse was that he died in such a horrible way and his car was totally damaged.

This was not what made me respected him, a furled, bloodsoaked Austrian flag was found in his car. It was a victory flag that he was going to raise in honour of another racer who had died on that track the day before. It was also reported that he cried when he came to know that the driver died. His friend pursuaded him to quit racing after that accident, but he insists on racing. I think that he did that so that he can get 1st and raise an Austrian flag for that guy. Who knows that he would die the next day?

Oh man, he is just so noble. Okay, put this aside, cos I know my blog post is becoming a tribute to Ayrton Senna, haha. My father must have brainwashed me to know so much about Formula One.

I just found a maths assessment book in my bookshelf. I dont know how it got there as I dont remember buying assessment books. Maths somemore. But its okay, it came at the right timing, I need serious help in maths.

Back to revision now, bye!

(P.S. The whole post is just talking about this guy, haha, sorry readers!)

Okay, I know blogging now is unhealthy, but, I seriously need a break from all the studying. Our teachers have been trying to squeeze their lesson time into the remaining English periods this week, since English FYE was over. But seriously, I hope that I can score well, but then, I don't think Im really prepared for it. So many thing to study and my brain is exploding as if too much Andro is applied on my head.

Well, at least school was still fun with the Palace thingy and seeing Lim Peiqi getting rejected by our clique. Today, Peiqi was soaking her Roti Prata into the curry till it turns soggy and disgusting during recess. I shall write a letter to the stall auntie asking her to marinate 2 pratas into the curry for 3 hours first before serving it to Peiqi. I conclude that Peiqi isn't from planet Earth. I think she's just turning crazy after stoning in the Cold Palace for too long.

After the Science exam, I, shall party like never before. I would not think about the results and play, eat, sleep, laugh, watch shows and be a piggy for all I want. Like seriously, the amount of practice papers we received and the number of topics tested are like atomic bombs. And I am the Hiroshima, understand?

Good.

Okay, got this quiz from somewhere and found it quite interesting.

13 X 3 = 39% HATED IN SCHOOL. Hey, Im so loved in school please. People all around are calling me EMPEROR. And if Im hated, I wont have so many mistresses :)

Throwing paper balls at teachers are the bestest thing to do on earth. So does throwing water bombs into other people's houses. Everyone should really try that at least once in their lifetime. Of course, I threw paper balls at my teacher in primary school. I dont throw paper balls actually, its actually paper bullets and using the rubber band as a catapult, shoot hard and painful-when-touched paper bullets with speeds of 5000km/h at the teacher. Espcially fun when any of them hits her and she turns around, frantically searching for the one who shot things at her. And of course, everyone will keep quiet :)

Come to think of it, primary school days are relaxed and fun, but secondary school days are so stressful with all the exams etc. However, Im still quite happy with my CA2 results.

English - 71 (I think)
Maths - 53.5 (Pulled up by PBL)
Higher Chinese - 72
Science - 65
Geography - 84

I hope that my final year would not pull down this beautiful score.

Oh ya, and I've already planned my holidays. I shall go work at my mom's friend's photocopying shop in Bukit Batok. So great. I hope that auntie would give me more pay due to my high level of intelligence. Im sure that she'll love me so much. Heheh. Photocopy should be a very easy and relaxed job. Most importantly, the shop is not near town, so I don't have to worry about sitting on my bed thinking of what to wear to work.

OH MAN. BLOGGED TOO MUCH. BACK TO REVISION!

HAVENT BLOGGED FOR AGES! So many people have been asking me to update my blog, haha.

Had English paper yesterday, wasn't difficult I would say... I wrote 'Choices' for paper 1, and my compo was super drama. I started like

"In life, we have many choices that we have to make. Each of the choices we make are important, may it be a small or a big one. I made a choice ten years ago which made me unable to forgive myself or forget that incident. The choice that changed my life. It all happened ten years ago..."

Then I started talking about me being a good student, then became close with this new classmate who was addicted to glue-sniffing. I became bad too then there is this scene which is super drama, now imagine...

The good-who-turned-bad boy is standing at the void deck. His father is on his left, his gang of friends are on his right. The father asked him to go home after finding out that his son smoked at the void deck, while his friends asked him to join them in another gang fight. Then the boy had to make a choice between his father or his friends. Of course, like most dramas, he chose the latter. He even shouted at his father.

Haha, this was the wrong choice I meant at the beginning of the compo. Then I wrote that so unluckily, the police caught us during the gang fight and we were sent to the Boy's Home. I became a councellor in that exact Boy's Home ten years later, guiding the boys inside to the right track and telling them my past stories, hoping that they would not end up like me. I ended like

"No one can stop you from making your own choices, but you have to bear the consequences of it."

or something like that. Haha. Then had recess and while waiting for the teaching to come to our class, we played this stupid but super funny primary school game. In primary school we used to play games like one being the father, one being the mother, then the son and so on. Ours was abit more high-classed and complicated. The characters are:

Emperor - ME
Empress - Ariel
Concubine #1 - Shumei
Concubine #7459 - Jocelyn
Yi MoMo - Chermaine
Guang MoMo - Kelly
Yan MoMo - Glenda
Xin MoMo - Lixin

It was super funny.

During the last episode on Friday, September 22...

The story revolves about this sick emperor who womanizes all the time, having like thousands of concubines although he already had this very shrewd empress. He had so many concubines that he lose track of 7000+ of them and could only remember the 1st and the 7459th concubine. The empress also ordered Yi MoMo to guard the emperor and look out for any new concubines. Apparently, Yi MoMo was very stupid and thought that the emperor and Xin MoMo had an affair. And the story continues...

Hahaha it was really really very funny, cos we all started speaking in olden chinese. By the way, having so many people greeting you is definitely something very SHIOK. Now, I must look out for Chermaine at all time, in case she tell untrue things to Ariel. Went home with Chermaine and Lixin.

Woke up early in the morning today, cos had to follow my sister to SGH for her check-up. Then went to Liang Court but did nothing productive there. Headed to Takashimaya next, since my dad said that lots of mooncakes would be for sale around this time. And I was super happy! Saw 5566's 守候 MV on the HUGE SCREEN on the 1st floor. See! This proves that 5566 will not just die off like this, they still have fans like me! Well, their manager said that the release date of the 4th album is not confirmed yet, but it would definitely be out this year. Also, the album's name is not called 5颜6色, its just rumours.

Ariel just cut her hair! I can see it on Monday, now if she look hideous, Im banishing her to the Cold Palace.

Current song: 信物 - 孙协志 (魔剑生死棋片尾曲)

Shall post about the Peer Leader's Camp and my tournament!

Day 1 (04/09/2007)

Woke up real early and went to school. Had this looooooong talk with Coach Jay, but he's actually quite interesting and funny. What he said made sense too la, haha. Had some snacks, then after lunch, played some bonding games. We had to use ropes and try to life a pail full of coloured balls out of a certain "toxic area". Its a very difficult game, I played it in P5. However, I still think our group rocks.

Played this game where your group splits into 2 teams and each team sends out a representative. The representative has to blindfold herself and walk through this area filled with "mines", with their team members guiding them. Along the way they have to pick up some items and the group with the most items wins. Coach Xavier was being very annoying and keep disturbing Peiqi, making her touch the mines or moving the objects away from her when she's just about to take it. But he also gave some items to Peiqi by stuffing them into her hand, haha.

Then this game where we have to throw balls around. I mean real balls, those coloured ones, haha. While throwing to another member of the team, you have to shout something out like MRT stations or Mediacorp artistes. I wanted to say "Yew Tee" and "Novena" but when its my turn, I mixed them up and said "Nove-tee". Hahaha, of course, got eliminated. The Mediacorp one was fun though, can see Michelle tearing her hair out thinking about the names of those artistes she know, which is like 3 only I think. We came up with lots of funny funny answers and artistes.

Next stop was this game where we have to blindfold ourselves and the coach will seperate us, then giving us this topic like "Arrange from shortest to tallest" or "From 1-10". Of course, for some he will tell us our numbers, then we have to arrange in one straight line to what he asked us to do, without talking. Thats very difficult, of course I purposely made a tiny gap and could see where i was going with my blindfolds on. Haha. We completed very fast luh!

Built a container for an egg next, using straws and masking tape. The coach will then drop the egg from a very high place and if the egg never break, we'll pass the test. but our group began turn the egg into a mummy instead, using like LOTS of masking tape. Haha, passed the test duh! Hello, we're so S-T-R-O-N-G.

Lastly, we built a stucture that represents LEADERSHIP. We built this wall, with a throphy on top, but also sharp spears around it. There will be this ladder that leads to the throphy. There are also characters climbing the ladder. The ladder represents the leader leading the rest of the team up to the throphy. Some other groups made some really funny structures that crumbles when the coach touches them, it was super hilarious.

Day 2 (05/09/2007)

Had this 'Peer Leader T-Shirt Design' activity, where we can design our own shirt, then everyone will choose which one is the best and use it for our T-Shirt. We had this 'Little Miss Peer Leader' with our own cartoon infront, then a word search with words like 'Integrity' in it.

Went for HSBC Tree-top Trail after some light snacks. The coach gave every group a 1.5l bottle of water, and again, Chermaine, Michelle and I have to lug it around. The coaches made it sound as if the tree-top trail was so difficult and challenging and dangerous and whatever, but please, I went there so many times, the bridge is really NOTHING. And they said that the scenery was nice. Crap luh, I mean, its quite fun going up to the bridge, tiring too, and I like going there, but there's really nothing to see. Shumei's bottle has 4 holes on the cap, and so I used the bottle to spray water at 2 coaches. Seriously, I think both of them are together. Haha. I sprayed water on my head too.

My dad didn't come fetch me home, and so I took a taxi to my mom's office and we went home together, with her paying the fare of course :)

Day 3 (06/09/2007)

Our back T-Shirt design was chosen to be the T-Shirt's back. The front was still undecided, but I really think our Little Miss Peer Leader was very nice. A pity other people thinks that its copyrighted. Had talks and watched out own collage made by the coaches, using pictures from the past 2 days. Went to Sentosa and had our own Amazing Race! It was really super fun, we were all on our own, had to take the different buses to get from one place to another. Whats even funnier was I heard the stop wrongly, and we got off at the wrong stop. Our group then crossed the road to the other bus-stop, hoping the catch the next bus back, and we GOT ONTO THE SAME BUS! The 4 seats on the bus that we seated a while ago were still unoccupied, and it was really super funny. Had to find tourists to do the chicken dance, super fun. Those Australian tourists were really very warm and when they heard that they had to do chicken dance, they did it right away. That earned us 500 points.

Too Many things happened, cannot finish blogging, haha. Peer Leader's Camp also ended in smiles, hugs, and laughters. Oh man, come to think of it, I really miss the camp alot.

National 48th Team Tournament (07/08/2007)

The results were as follows:

1. Singapore Chinese Girls' School - Won
2. Crescent Girls' Team 2 - Won
3. Marie Stella High - Lost
4. North View Secondary - Lost
5. CHIJ Toa Payoh - Won
6. Ang Mo Kio Secondary - Won

Total: 4/6

Omg Im super happy with my results. I think I really improved alot. Last year, I only got 1/5, which is like pathetic. Beating SCGS was the happiest, I played with the girl early in the year before, in the Individuals Tournament, and she beat me, now, its my turn to win her. Heheh.

Just ploped on my bed and sleep once I reach home. Really very tiring, imagine playing 6 games a day, in tournament mode where you can't lost and have to give your very best in every game. At least, we, Crescent Team 1 emerged 19th out of 40 schools and were 4th for the Girls Category, just one point behind St Nics who won 3rd.

Okay, pretty late now, bye!

Havent blogged for quite some time, so shall use my ONLY free time to blog! Shall blog about Ariel's birthday first, since Im going to watch Cube 2 later on.

Saturday, September 2, 2007

Woke up real early to get myself prepared to go to Ariel's house. Apparently, it was her birthday, so we planned to give her a surprise attack at her house! Peiqi then called me to buy a cake and wanted me to call Ariel's parents and ask if its alright to go up to their house early in the morning. Bought the cake then my dad and mom then drive me to Chua Chu Kang to pick Chermaine up, then go Bishan MRT station. Chermaine was LATE, and my dad wasnt really happy, haha, but nevermind! Then called Ariel house to ask her parents, but Ariel answered the phone!

Me - "Erm hello? Ariel ah? Eh my mom wants to talk to your mom leh."
Ariel - "Huh? Talk to my mom for what?"
Me - "I also dunno, maybe say bad things about you, heheh. Ask your mom listen."
Ariel - "But my mom sleeping!"
Me - "Then your dad leh?"
Ariel - "My whole family sleeping, Im the only one awake. Your mom wants to find my mom for what?"
Me - "Aiya nevermind, I'll call back later, you go sleep k"
Ariel - "Bye"

-Hangs Up-

Hahaha I know its a very lousy one, but no choice! Managed to find Peiqi at Junction 8, then went to Ariel's house. I remembered wrongly where Ariel's house was, and went to the 4th floor instead. The 3 of us were very scared of Ariel's dog cos it will bark very loudly, and so we sneaked around, pushing and shoving each other infront. In the end we realised that it wasn't her house, so we went to the 6th floor. Her doorbell didnt work, and so Peiqi called her to tell her that her doorbell dont work. Ariel thought that we were lying to her when we asked her to go open her door. She was so suprised when she opened her door eventually. Haha. Sang a soft birthday song in Crescent style for her, and enjoyed the tiramisu cake, then headed to Junction 8. Waited for Ximian for her tuition to end then went Cathay together.

Watched Ratatouille and it was really funny! Its about this rat who loves cooking, and his idol was France's number one cook Gusteau, who died after having his 5-star rating drop till 4-star. Remy, the rat, managed to escape to France after a close encounter with death and seperated from his family. He met Gusteau's son and helped him survive in Gusteau's restaurant. He prepared the food and was well-liked by the customers. The story continues as Gusteau's son, Linguini falls in love with a female chef and decides to abandon Remy...

The show was DAMN FUNNY! Some disturbing scenes, haha, its when all the rat comes out of their territory. Im the camera man for the pictures below, so you wont be able to see me!

Went town to some shops after that, then went home on the MRT together with Ariel, Chermaine and Ximian. After Ariel got off, Chermaine and Ximian started poking my boobs and kiaping my neck. So sick luh them! Again we invited some unneccesary attention. Since they are treating me like this, Im asking Minyee to help me get revenge and she did on Ximian. Heheh, Ximian ar, watch out! *poke poke* *kiap kiap*

Ok, its pretty late now, and Ariel's birthday ends here too, shall go watch Cube 2 now, bye! Will post about Peer Leader's Camp and 48th International Chess Inter-School Team Tournament some time later.
